Job Description

• In conjunction with Director of Ground Operations, develop, revise and update all ramp operations SOPS’ and Quality Control Processes.

• Monitor and/or conduct all ramp SOP training of vendors.

• Responsible for developing and managing a team of aircraft turnaround coordinators responsible for day to day oversight and supervision of aircraft related servicing activities.

• Be responsible for insuring compliance with established company safety policies and procedures.

• Responsible for meeting airside SLAs for baggage delivery performance & the On-time performance by handling vendors.

• In conjunction with the Director of Ground Operations, Senior manager of IOCC, and Manager Quality Compliance review & coordinate changes to centralised load control processes and systems as required.

• Responsible for achieving KPI’s in respect to airside performance, safety, service, and regulatory compliance outcomes.

• In conjunction with Manager Quality Assurance, perform quality control audits at ramp and operations areas. Share these audits with the local Station Managers and GHA. Work with all parties to develop action plans to resolve any deficiencies and/or procedural changes as needed.

• Develop or revise ground operations procedures that would enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.

• Proactive in anticipating problems and initiates actions to solve issues regarding ground operations procedural and safety matters.

• Monitor, measure and report on all airside operational issues on a regular basis.

• Identify and implement new operating techniques that will improve productivity and reduce costs.

• Contribute to the evaluation and development of operational strategy and performance in co-operation with the company’s Senior ground operations Management Team.

• Continuously monitor and review service delivery standards contracted with service providers.

• Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships with GHA, service providers and airport authorities.

• Provide support, encouragement, and feedback to agents as they learn assignments and posts.
