Job Description


The Indirect Sales Manager – Offline, will drive revenue by establishing strong relationships with the travel agency and corporate travel communities, ensuring agencies are fully aware of flyadeal’s product range and methods of booking; enabling them to meet agreed targeted revenues



§ Define the strategy, KPIs and revenue targets for GSA, travel agency and corporate sales, across the flyadeal network

§ Procure new travel agency partners and oversee their implementation, driving them to utilise direct connection wherever possible, bypassing GDS

§ Conduct visits to key travel agents to understand distribution trends and needs, and provide updates of all relevant marketing activities, and functional enhancements

§ Track booking and payment trends across all travel agency bookings

§ Implement and monitor GDS participation agreements as required

§ Implement and monitor GSA agreements as required

§ Manage correspondence and disputes raised by travel agencies

§ Assist sales team on sales calls to travel agencies as required

§ Provide support to agencies via internal and GDS helpdesks

§ Analyse, review and advise on system data related issues for indirect sales, to ensure maximum benefits are being realized

§ Provide input with respect to indirect sales, to the internal distribution budget process

§ Develop the company model for opening new routes where direct sales will be insufficient

Management & Leadership

§ Work with Head of Distribution and Indirect Sales to assist in the delivery of departmental priorities and objectives.


§ Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise, within the framework of flyadeal’s people development strategy

Assist with the departmental strategy of development of knowledge transfer

Qualifications and experience:


§ Bachelors Degree or equivalent

§ PC literate with excellent skills in MS Office suite

§ Minimum 7 years of job-related experience

§ Experience of field and / or corporate sales within an airline environment

§ Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills


§ Proven track record of leading major change without supervision

§ Project management within a multicultural environment

§ Practical knowledge of GDS systems, suppliers and trends

§ Understanding of external supplier management

§ Fluent reading, written and spoken Arabic


Job Specific Skills:

§ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and drive and manage change

§ Middle Eastern airlines sales experience, Saudi Arabian market highly desirable

§ Client focused and business aware, with proven interaction to the Senior Management level

§ Proven ability to work under pressure to defined, tight timescales and budget

§ Ability to build and maintain strong relationships

§ Requires confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people

§ Strong analytical and organizational skills

§ Strong written and verbal communication skills

§ Commercial acumen, able to identify and interpret market trends

§ Strong team player – able to foster teamwork among fellow team members
