Job Description
  • In provision of 24x7x365 IT support for the airline, be rostered for support on-call and on-site out of hours and weekends.
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure in a 24x7 operation.
  • Travel as required to flyadeal stations inside and outside KSA for support and set up of IT operations.
  • Management and resolution of outages and incidents in network, systems, applications, and other IT related problems.
  • Maintain the flyadeal IT infrastructure and software including end user devices, LAN, WAN, Data Centre devices and interact with vendors providing the services.
  • Work with service providers to maintain the IT operations at all flyadeal locations.
  • Escalate as needed to Director IT to ensure accountability is maintained by vendors contracted to provision services.
  • Contribute to development and improvement of service management processes for support, implementation of systems, delivery of desktop services.
  • Manage all requests for flyadeal IT application/system access and hardware, ensuring full compliance to agreed SLA’s, security policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical advice for Business Units in development and implementation of BCP.
  • Developing improvements around support processes, tools, standards and the overall performance and level of support.
  • Enhance and automate support and delivery processes across the organization. Proactively suggest solutions for users to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain and improve software support methods, standards and SLA’s across flyadeal supported applications and software.

Required Skills

• Microsoft (MCSE)
• VMware (VCA)
• HP ProLiant series servers
• College or university degree in information technology or a related discipline
• Prior experience in a technical leadership position
• In-depth knowledge and experience with core Microsoft O365, Windows Server 2012/2016, Microsoft SharePoint, FortiGate firewall, Virtualization and cloud-based integration.
• Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented of LAN, WAN, and MPLS network connectivity.
• Experience implementing, configuring, managing and administering domain controller, Active Directory, firewall, Cisco Switches, Cisco Routers and virtualization products.
