Job Description
  • Key stakeholder in any decisions regarding new Forms of Payment
  • Key stakeholder in commercial refund’s policy
  • Positive influencer with our Acquirers and SkyLedger to apply CI and fraud prevention processes
  • Fully investigate all revenue fraud cases taking appropriate action to protect or recover monies owed to flyadeal
  • Create and develop strong relationships with Card schemes, Acquiring Bank and PSP provider to ensure flyadeal’s business requirements are known and delivered
  • Validation of the SkyLedger reference data and update as required to ensure correct processing of flyadeal passenger revenue
  • Key contact for all Revenue Protection Reports
  • Work with others in the team to ensure each person is fully upskilled in all aspects of the other’s role ensuring business continuity
  • Accountable for ALL dept. accounting is in line with industry standards and practices. Internal - Communicate best practice for all Customer payment channels to minimise fraud opportunities.
  • Internal - Re-enforce the message that Revenue Accounting is an enabler here to support implementation of Commercial revenue opportunities
  • External – Ensure open and honest dialogue with Acquirers and SkyLedger relating to payment files or fraud

· Internal / External - Create Fraud Report to allow full transparency of flyadeal fraud levels and action being taken to manage and reduce

  • Jointly create with the Customer & Commercial Team a SoP for managing and authorising Customer refunds
  • Jointly create, with the Fraud Management Team, robust preventative processes, were preventative action is not available ensure appropriate investigative processes are in place to mitigate financial or reputational risk
  • Accountable for creation and running of reporting requirements in relation to all aspects of revenue protection
  • Apply Lean CI principles to all procedures and processes
  • Deputise for the Dept Head and cover his responsibilities during his absence

· Jointly work with Dept Head on career development and up-skilling looking towards succession planning.
